- Gabby O’Connor Added May 25, 2022★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DODGY MECHANIC RIGHT HERE. Asked for quote for repairs to my car ac. Was told that everything needed to be replaced and will cost over $3000, we declined. When we went back to pick up my car, the guy told my partner not to show the quote to anyone, because other mechanics don’t do as ‘comprehensive work’. Took the car to another ac mechanic and my radiator just needed to be refilled. No charge. I’m still enjoying icy aircon 2 years later and hope no one else goes to this rip-off merchant.
Response to owners threats : my names is not Georgia. You said it was because there was leaf litter in the compressor which caused a burn out. The issue was the radiator (which you’re also meant to be an “expert” in). Oh and threatening customers because they warn the public about your dodgy work? Wow you guys give mechanics a bad name!
These guys are belligerent and future complaints are probably best directed to the office of fair trading for formal investigation as this is clearly their business model.
